Kovu woke up alone on the cold floor of his cave. Zira's shout was still ringing in his mind.
That time, in that memorable morning on the gorge, he could do nothing to help his mother. But even if he could, would he help her? At that time he cared about only one - his Kiara, the first and only lioness next to whom he could truly be himself. He couldn't even think of anything to happen to her... Yes. Maybe he was blind... Maybe it's really damnation? His dear beloved Kiara died so early. His sons... What about them?

OMG
I never really liked SP, including Kovu, but I find him kinda interesting character because he can be considered from two sides - as a romantic hero and as a traitor... Yes, he really betrayed his mother and even didn't try to convince her to settle down, or at least explain his intentions... But on the other hand, he had no other choice: she would not even listen to him. Игеб however, even Vitani based her decision "to lay down the wearons", even a single phrase. And he: "You'll never hurt Kiara... or Simba. Not while I'm here." That's all... So, the storyline of Kovu and Zira, perhaps, is one of the compex and severe in the movie.

P.S. I DO NOT MEAN THAT HE'S EVIL!!! HE IS NOT!

Мне никогда по-настоящему не нравился СП, включая Кову, но, однако, я нахожу его в какой-то степени интересным персонажем хотя бы из-за того, что его можно рассматривать с двух сторон: как романтичного положительного героя и как предателя... Да, он действительно предал свою мать и даже не попытался её образумить или по крайней мере объяснить свои намерения. Но, с другой стороны, был ли у него иной выход? Она бы не стала даже слушать его. Но, однако, даже Витани обосновала своё решение "сложить оружие", пусть и одной фразой. А он? "Ты не тронешь ни Киару, ни Симбу, ни за что, пока я здесь!" И всё.
Пожалуй, линия Кову и Зиры - одна из самых сложных и сильных в мультфильме.

ЗЫ Почему вечно страдающим и сомневающимся показывают Симбу? У Кову тоже вполне могут свои "тараканы"...
