Little Kawa-chan gets an English lesson from her mom Nae
I think Kawako has just pronounced something incorrectly, and Nae corrects.

A sweet mother-daughter moment In my story Nae was such a Rosa Ushiromiya kind of mother, abusive and caring at the same time. I felt like drawing one of the moments when she exposes her nice side.

And yes, Nae is wearing the same NYU t-shirt she wore at her first appearance in the movie. I think she just kept it and wears at home. I tried to give this pic some canon flavour. There's a mini Statue of Liberty and a California roll plushie.

_{But I guess some of you have no idea who is Nae and what movie is she from. Well, Nae is from the movie "Ginmaku ban Sushi Oji! New York e iku" which is the sequel to the Japanese comedy TV series "Sushi Oji!". The TV series was cute, silly and funny, though it didn't lack the idea. The movie was just one big WTF. As much as I love the TV series, I hate the movie. It has ruined the plot, the main protagonist, and worse - they f****ing KILLED one of the important characters! Thas's why I made Kawako. Technically, she lives because her father is dead. How ironic.
Kawako is the main character of the fanfiction I write (currently on hiatus). It will be focused on her life and also her relationship with Tsukasa (not romantic!), the main protagonist of "Sushi Oji!", who takes the role of her mentor. I'm not sure when I'll finish it (and will I ever finish), but I hope it will happen someday}
